Relax in the nude throughout Thermae 2OOO

Due to popular demand, Thermae 2OOO is organising its first ‘entirely nude day’ on Wednesday, 26 May 2010, which will subsequently be repeated monthly. On this day sauna visitors and thermal bath visitors can enjoy all sauna and bath facilities in the nude throughout the entire Thermae 2OOO complex. Being entirely nude is compulsory for a visit on the last Wednesday of the month.

In the nude
In connection with the introduction of bathing wear day, a day on which all visitors wear bathing wear every 1st Tuesday of the month, many requests have been made for a nude day. Thermae 2OOO's management had independent research performed from which it has become evident that some of the regular Thermae 2OOO guests are indeed in favour of this.

Background of the division between dressed / nude
The division between the bathing area (where one wears bathing wear) and the sauna area (where one relaxes in the nude) originates from the fact that Thermae 2OOO has its origins as a Physiotherapeutic Treatment Centre. The founders of Thermae 2OOO were in fact 2 physiotherapists. Treatment must be accessible to all, whether you prefer to be dressed or nude when in the therapeutic baths.

Therapeutic treatment
The therapeutic effects of the thermal water benefits various patients, including people with rheumatism, muscular or joint problems. This is especially true of the Thermae hydrotherapy (www.thermaefysio.nl). Some visitors also engage in preventative treatments.

Lifestyle
Because sauna visits are becoming an increasingly popular lifestyle choice, supplemented with massages, beauty and wellness as desired, relaxing in the nude fits well with this (growing) target group. With these new special days, Thermae 2OOO is accommodating the desires of its guests.
