Apollo Hotel Almere is the Official sponsor of the Almere Business Run

The Almere Business Run was held on May 30th, with the Apollo Hotel Almere as the official sponsor. “We are happy with these kind of events in Almere’s city centre, it generates publicity not only on a local level but also nationally”, exclaims Marco van der Aa, the Apollo Hotel’s General Manager.

The Almere Business Run is a relay race for company teams each comprising three runners. Each team member runs a half marathon around the Weerwater, which represents 7km per competitor.

As the official sponsor the Apollo Hotel Almere City Centre placed a number of rooms at the disposal of the Business Run participants, where they could pick up their start numbers and store any belongings. After the race the lounge bar was opened to VIPs and special guests. The run’s sponsors and participants assembled in the specially decorated VIP lounge for the prize giving and to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. There was also a raffle for the runners who could win a free overnight stay for 2 people including breakfast in the Apollo Hotel. Despite all the rain the 1st Almere Business Run was a great success and the Apollo Hotel is already looking forward to next year’s!
